Prayers

There are twelve unnamed people that need our prayers.

The restructuring passed this past summer was intended to cut down on the number of people working at the IC.  The first round of cuts has been made.  Twelve people have have been “let go” effective December 1.  This was required by the convention, but losing your job a month before Christmas is not fun.  This is not a matter of “us” vs. “them”.  This is not political fallout.  This is not getting rid of “enemies”.  This is twelve families who are suffering because the synod could no longer afford to support them.  Please keep these unnamed individuals and families  in your prayers, and pray that they find comfort in the promise of God that he will take care of us in all circumstances, and that they will soon find a way to support their families .
