Not only not Christian, but probably not even legal

That’s the analysis from channel 2 in Saint Louis about the severance agreement that Classic 99 employees were forced to sign if they wanted any severance at all. Respublica has the embedded video.

Of course, a lawsuit would cost more than the agreement is worth, unless all the employees instituted a class-action case.  Which I think they should.

This not only reflects VERY badly on our church body, but it is just a crappy thing to do.  You don’t treat people this way.  I mean, Dr. Evil does, but the LCMS should have at least a little compassion for its former employees.  It’s called acting like a Christian, and if the LCMS can’t figure out how it’s done, then it’s apparently not a Christian organization.
